I've got it bad....just woke up, soaking in sweat, thought i'd blog er twice ahem...
Man flu is a killer, it only affects males, and can incapacitate a man for several days. During this period the male becomes complely reliant on the female of the species to cook, pass him anything that is not in arm's reach, and to be there just to 'coo' 'how are you feeling dear', 'would you like anything', 'you look terrible, dont move', 'you poor thing'.
The classic symptoms are;
Weak feeble voice,cough,sneeze
Unable to lift head off pillow/cushion
Lethargy
A need to be mothered
Unable to conduct any tasks or chores
Things which can aggrivate 'Man flu'
Being told it's just a cold
Being asked to do anything
If the male does not get his own way
Watching women's tv
Not being doused in sympathy...
Prognosis
With lots of TLC the condition usually clears within 4 days, but there is a chance of a re-lapse! so ladies take good care of your man, and treat him with kid gloves...do not refuse any request, and try to please at every opportunity. This will ensure a speedy recovery.
'Man flu' can strike the victim more than once a year, infact studies have shown that the more times the male is infected the worse the symptoms are, in these cases the female needs to adopt the 'Hand and Foot' method of nursing (ask ur mums!!)

Er i am still teetering on the edge of delirium, as i have 'Man flu' stage3...i can lift my head off the pillow, have even made it into work (albiet not at my usual efficiency), but i'm not firing on all cylinders yet... Day146 and counting...I miss…The random thoughts of a single person (er me!)

Well today was the day i was dreading...d-day or should that be c-day (c4 cat)
Leeb was back in town, and i had to go and tell him, his kitty was probably dead, its body pecked clean by raven, and it was all my fault ( i know it isn't but hey thats the sort of guy i am). Get to his house...'listen m8 theres something i've got to tell you...sit down...i dont know how to tell you this, but one of your cats is missing...it 'did' one'.
Hmmm he says...hmmm i says...er your taking this rather well...he then says he got dropped off by the taxi...both cats waiting for them on a bench by the front door...WTF is that all about....the bastard cats NEVER appeared together for me in 2 fookin weeks....bastards!!
He then told me how the house seems infested by fleas....yeah great...dont i know it...i fed the bastard fleas for 2 weeks as well...bastards!!
So i'm back home now celebrating the return of the cats, with a little help from a bottle of Ouzo he brought me back...er its for medicinal purposes of cause...damn 'man' cold.

its sunday night again and here i am blogging (hmmm technically thats not true cause its mon morning...just)
Well what's happend to me since i last posted...not alot really, nothing of much consequence in the worlds events of late.
Seen lots of films at the cinema...i really should be looking to buy a season ticket...hmmm wonder if they do one that also includes 'guests' ; )
I now realise that a car is a comoditiy....public transport SUX...taxis are a rip off, buses are no better than trucks which transport cattle...er infact the trucks probo dont smell as bad... Being able just to 'nip out' for a can of paint or going to friends is sooooo much easier by car..SCREW the emissions!! LOL...my son will be glad...everytime i go shopping i carry about 4 bags, but when hes home i pile it on...he keeps telling me that his 'kit' weghts in at 120lb...so wots 8 shopping bags!!
and a heep load of other stuff that i cant be bothered to blog about...cause its late now...

Isn't it amazing how just the brief snippet of a tune...the mention of an group...the recollection of a place, can trigger vivid memories of days gone by that seem only like yesterday, but are in reality decades ago...
A dear friend mentioned George Benson yesterday and a place which was the centre of my adolescence weekends and so tonight i find myself trawling the net for musical memories from those days...

Got booted out of my office...i used to share an office with the most beautiful babe in the place where i work..love her to bits...anyhow...the company has spilt us up..and moved us out....nowt to do with the fact we used to gas all day long...god i miss her!!
Got a huge blister on my foot which will stop me climbing a mountain next week...GUTTED!!
